ACTION ALERT TODAY! No on 54! Ward Connerly at UCB Tonight!

After backing out of a debate on Prop 54 last week, UC Regent Ward Connerly is coming to a Berkeley College Republican-sponsored forum at UC-Berkeley this Tuesday (Sept. 23) at 6:00 PM to speak in favor of
Proposition 54, his initiative which would end voluntary K-12 integration in California and cover up statistics on racist discrimination and inequality in education, employment, housing, and healthcare.

BAMN is holding a press conference before the event at 4:30 PM to call for the defeat of Prop. 54 and to demand Connerly's immediate resignation/removal from the UC Board of Regents. We invite everyone to join us. And remember to come to Sproul Plaza on Thursday at noon to march to defeat Proposition 54.
