Please come to help SEIU in Fresno...the loudest fighting Union in Fresno....help take on the County Supervisors...but mostly the Powers that be in Fresno.
Protest the Slave Master business in Fresno...
One of the worst is Lyons Magnus. Family owned by 2nd generation of greedy okies. The Smittcamps They own the orchards...the packing shed.. the processing plant and distribution. If a guy doesn't want to work a 15hr day in processing they just fire him and pull a farm worker up from the fields and call it helping the poor.
Eventhough they are located in a culturally diverse area...not one African American works there. Very low glass ceiling for women.
***IT has been said a Union could never enter Lyons*** Lyons produce is in your Ben & Jerry's. your favorite chain restaraunts dessert...you kids school lunches....in the prisons food "they only send the worst of the crop"...bob Smittcamp said with a chuckle...and it helps make the flavors for your Starbucks Coffee..this is just a tip of who they supply.
The place is filled with cameras, cameras, cameras..inside, outside, and can view 2 blocks down.
Smittcamp recently held a fund raiser in Fresno for
*** Jeb Bush *** thats right..in Fresno.
The workers in Fresno could use real Unions reps...ones to rally the workers, make them feel safe, and that they can make a difference..that yes they do have power...that it IS american to organize and strike...cause right now they are afraid to lose jobs, afraid to speak out. let alone organize. They could use a little strength, courage, and encouragement from their Brothers and Sisters from the Bay Area,
I hope you can come help
