SECOND BLACK BODYBUILDER CLAIMS SCHWARZENEGGER RACIST COMMENTS

Another black bodybuilder has come forward claiming that California gubernatorial candidate Arnold Schwarzenegger has a history of making racist comments, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal.
Robby Robinson, one of the most respected and well known of all body builders [a former Mr. America, Mr. World and Mr. Universe titleholder], backs up claims made by fellow black bodybuilder Rick Wayne.
"No disrespect to fans of Arnold but Rick's claim is in keeping with my experiences with the man," Robinson explains in a message.
Robinson says that Schwarzenegger repeatedly directed the term "nigger" at him.

Known throughout his career as "The Black Prince," Robinson continues:

"The banquet hall was full of IFFB [International Federation of BodyBuilders] officals. There was a dead silence. You could've heard a pin fall. Everybody in the room was shocked except for me.
"All of his hostility and rage was directed at me. For once he got caught out of shape and I was in contest condition. Me being in great shape put him in a bad light and a bad attitude.
"In my mind I wanted to bust him up. But that would not have done any good. So with all my intensity bottled inside me I walked out of the room. I'm walking out as he was still in his mode of, down with the blacks, when the silence was broken by Joe Weider's voice telling Arnold to stop. That did no good. He was on a roll by now. I left the banquet and went to my room.
"His actions were cowardly and disrespectful. That's why Rick Wayne is speaking out.
"During Pumping Iron more racial slurs were directed at me because I walked out of his house refusing to be involved in the movie if we did not get paid something. We ended up getting $100.00 a day but not before more racial slurs of nigger-nigger were leveled at me for speaking up for myself and the rest of the guys.
"What the fans and media don't know is we all then signed $10,000.00 contracts with White Mountain Film Company and Arnold. To this day Arnold has not paid us a dime. I wonder what the value of that contact would be today. BB [body building] has a dark past, it's a tragedy. The Weiders and Arnold have to deal with their ghosts being uncovered."

I seem to remember that Cruz Bustamante did the same thing just a few years ago at a speech to a group of African Americans.
I don't know. That was well televised and that seemed like a genuine slip of tongue rather than that his brain had consciously sent a signal to say that. It wasn't consistent with the rest of the paragraph he was saying either.
I don't buy that slip of the tongue bs. You don't say things like that in that kind of setting unless it's part of your day to day vocabulary. I think that's telling on where Busty's really coming from.
what cruz said was "neg" or possibly "nig". he stopped himself from saying the whole word whether it was "negro" or "nigger". he admitted that he had erred, and apologized.

What reality check says may be a "rant", but it's hardly incoherent by the standards of posting on any board like this, and a lot more coherent &emdash; and truthful &emdash; than most right-wing posts.
That said, I must take issue with their use of the phrase emerging democracies. It seems like just another euphemism, like developing countries, that should better be stated as "countries in the process of being fully penetrated (i.e., raped) by multinational capital"

I remember back in my bodybuilding days Arnie used to blatant about his racial views, sometimes his attitude really got out of control. If Arnie ever used the equipment after me he who shout, “I hoped you wiped that clean – dirty ni**er!” and such like comments. I used to let it go, as it would just fire me up, in fact he help me push myself a little further.

First off I am an african american male who has been involved in the bodybuilding world for 31 years and trained for years at the original golds gym in venice,ca,during the years of Arnold and Robby Robinson. You can ask any number of original Golds gym alumni and even current pro bodybuilders competing today that will tell you about the credibility of Robby Robinson.A few things I will tell you. Robby has been arrested countless times in his life for spousal beating.He is a known cleptomaniac.And he is a well known male hustler on the private gay for pay bodybuilding circuit for many,many years. He has never made much of a living from bodybuilding even though he competed successfully for years and has always looked for the easy buck. As for Arnold being a racist,that is the biggest crock of bullshit ever.There were quite a few of us african american bodybuilders in those days that hung out together every day. And with the exception of Robby and Rick Wayne,lets see how many other black males say Arnold is a racist.I bet not many.I can name a few from those days that can attest to what I'm saying.Such as Bill Grant,Dave Dupre,Bill Pettis,Manuel Perry.Why doesnt Robby publicly tell everyone how a few years ago he put photocopied messages on the windows of all the cars at golds gym,venice parking lot telling of his current wifes being secretly involved in porno behind his back and leaving him broke. Only to eventually find out that he really had been beating her for months and she finally took off.He also sent a letter to Arnold requesting money for help during this desperate time to aid his grief. Arnold is in the know just as well if not better than most of us.And he knew the real deal on Robby.As for Rick Wayne,he is a huge bigot and has been for years.He spent most of the 70's writing about racism in bodybuilding and that Arnold was the great white hope. All racism to me.Trust me on this from a guy who was there. Robby is and always has been a piece of shit and it doesnt suprise me or anyone from the old days at all.
