"Labor On The Job" Presents
*CAL-OSHA Under Attack
Last Doctor In Program Threatened With Elimination
*Chicago Railway Engineers Protest Remote Controlled Trains
*Labor, Politics And The Recall with candidates C.T. Weber of Peace & Freedom Party and Peter Camejo of the Green Part
Join "Labor On The Job" when we focus on the threatened lay-off of the last medical doctor at Cal-Osha. We will interview Dr. Larry Rose, M.D., MPH of the Cal/OSHA Medical Unit. Dr. Rose will discuss the under funding of CAL-OSHA and why this now threatens the viability of the program.
"Labor On The Job" will also show a recent railworkers protest in Chicago against the introduction of remote controlled trains. These remote controlled trains have already caused wrecks and injuries and threaten the lives and health of communities around the country.
Lastly, Labor On The Job will interview two candidates who will be on the ballot and will discuss what organized labor and working people can do about the recall and the growing political and social crisis in California.
C.T. Weber, a chapter president of SEIU-CESA 1000 DLC 784 and Peter Camjeo of the Green Party will outline their views of the recall and what working people should do about it.
