Gov Davis Labor Friends Attack Labor Journalist, Thwart SF Janitors Strike

by Ready to Recall
This week's labor news: Gov Davis ran to his labor faker friends at the AFL-CIO Executive Committee meeting in Chicago for support against the recall. Harry Kelber, the widely respected labor journalist, was refused the ability to report on that meeting because he wrote a pamphlet calling for more union democracy. And, that organized crime, election-frauding friend of Gray Davis, "mayor" Willie Brown, stepped in to "mediate" the janitors' dispute, while his union bureaucrat friends tell the janitors to report to work without a contract..

And, that organized crime, election-frauding friend of Gray Davis, "mayor" Willie Brown, stepped in to "mediate" the janitors' dispute, while his union bureaucrat friends tell the janitors to report to work without a contract.

As to the Chicago story, from Chicago Indymedia, we learn that Harry Kelber, who has covered these labor meetings for over 20 years, and is easily over age 70, was deemed a "security risk" by the labor lieutenants of capitalism because he wrote a pamphlet entitled “Ten Ways to Reform an Undemocratic AFL-CIO.” See:

KPFA, 94.1 FM, 6 p.m. news, 8/5/03, reported Gov. Davis got all these anit-democraic labor fakers to support him in his desperate effort to stop his well-deserved recall. Apparently they like the fact that Gray Davis supports the death penalty, prison construction and private energy companies, proving that they and he are viciously anti-labor.

On the same newscast, we heard that the election-frauding, organized crime thug sitting illegally in the mayor's office with 40% of the vote plus election fraud, and now only 20% support, "mayor" Willie Brown of San Francisco, is "mediating" the dispute between the janitors and building owners over healthcare coverage as the janitors are being asked to pay for the coverage, all of which is a tax writeoff for the building owners as business expense. The workers were told by their union that they are to report to work without a contract, which means a sellout is in the works. Willie Brown's election fraud history may be found at:

The fact that so many labor disputes in this country concern healthcare coverage is a ringing indictment of this backward society which unlike the rest of the industrialized world, has no national healthcare system, with the resultant lowest life expectancy and highest infant mortality in the industrialized world.

All of organized labor in San Francisco should go out on strike with the janitors right now with the chants:

No contract, no work!
An injury to one is an injury to all!
