San Jose Police Abuse

by A Victim
Nothing, in fact, can be more terrible for San Diego than a police leader that is political, deceitful - someone who would be able to thwart San Diego citizens from realizing the real dangers of police abuse, police bruality, and police misconduct. That to-be-leader is Bill Lansdowne, currently the so-called-leader of the San Jose Police Department.

This man, in fact, seeks to become the leader of the San Diego Police Department. This appears at the very moment when this leader unveils the death of another San Jose resident, namely Cau Thi Tran, a 25-year-old mother of two who was shot two weeks ago at her home in San Jose.

Let us not make the mistake of endangering the lives of San Diego residents, visitors, guests, and tourists, scared to walk the streets, parks, and entertainment centers of San Diego, as others in San Jose are, fearful of the police causing them bodily harm and injury, in blatant violation of their civil/human rights, as have been done repeatedly in San Jose over the years, some of which has ben kept in the dark, both intentionally or unintentionally so.

Whether it is a question of killing residents, torturing residents, enslaving residents, or merely mystifying residents, our goal should be to do away with police hostile force, as that force which will only repulse San Diego residents and visitors and leave us condemned to potential police abuse and misdconduct under the leadership of Bill Lansdowne, an outsider, in the future.

We must take the precautions now that San Diego residents and visitors will only have to take later against suprise attacks under the ill care and supervision of a terrible leader who is preparing his next raids on another city.

According to the San Jose Mercury News, Tran's death has prompted numerous calls from angry citizens to community organizations and police, claiming the department under the supervision of Mr. Lansdowne used excessive force. The outrage over Tran's death has been fueled, in part, by its swiftness -- she was shot within two to 55 seconds after the officers entered, depending on various accounts -- and whether she posed a threat at all. In addition, family members and a neighbor dispute police accounts that both officers were in the house when the fatal shot was fired.

I am well aware, having known first-hand about being/becoming a victim of police abuse, of which was taped, fortunately by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) against the San Jose police, how vicious abuse can be under the "unsupervised leadership" of Bill Lansdowne. The CHP recorded the San Jose police in their most beastly form.

From then on, I have done research on the many other civil/human rights abuses to San Jose residents and visitors - from white collar professionals such as myself to blue collars, to guests and visitors of San Jose. I have seen gruesome photos of even abused women by the San Jose police force, under the supervision of Bill Lansdowne. I have witnessed coverups, lies, and deceit all of which supported not condemend by so-called-Chief Bill Lansdowne. Lansdowne should be condemned for his actions, and not rewarded with the title of Chief of another city, namely San Diego.

As long as we remain with the path about to be taken, there is an unjustice about to take place - namely, appointing Bill Lansdowne as Chief of the San Diego Police Department. Please speak to San Diego's council representatives to have them vote against this from every happening before Tuesday's vote. Please speak to Tran's family and other victims under the supervision and coverup of Lansdowne. Unlike Tran's death, those cases which intentionally or unintentionally did not make it to the news by choice of the victim, apologies were never made to the victims. I, personally, am still waiting for his apology, and will do everything in my power from stopping him from becoming a leader of one of the finest cities in the United States, namely San Diego.
