In a whirlwind tour of Africa, First Lady, Laura Bush, was said to have shed a tear in Uganda, poor thing, as she listened to a choir sing. Of course she forgot to mention Amina Lawal in Nigeria, surprising, given her contribution of sewing kits to the abused women in Afghanistan.

Don't cry for me Nigeria
The truth is I barely glimpsed you

And as for Amina, and Karla too
We kill so that women can learn
Though at odds with the world, they deserve all they get
