You cannot give something to someone which already belongs to that person

by discourse is upside down as usual
It is at a point where it is seen as generous for Israelis to "give" Palestinians their own land, property and water back!

Insane. It turns the conflict on its head, as usual.
This reminds me of a joke I heard not too long ago on SF IMC.

As you know, Israel exists on 78% of what was formerly 100% Palestine and Palestinians are on 22% of their original lands (the Occupied Territories). Of that 22%, Israel controls around 42% in the Occupied Territories through settlements. Barak, it is said, offered Palestinians 80% of that 22% of the Occupied Territories in his so called "Generous offer."

As the joke goes:
Rabin to Palestinians (Oslo):
We will give you 100% of 42% of 22% of 100% of what used to be yours.

Barak to Palestinians:
We will give you 80% of 100% of 42% of 22% of 100% of what used to be yours.

Sharon to Palestinians:
We will give you 0% of 80% of 100% of 42% of 22% of 100% of what used to be yours.

This is how ridiculously skewed this conflict has gotten.
by Palestine IS NOT A COUNRTY
when Palestine did exist (400years ago) it was part of Jordan, Syria, and not in what is Israel why are Palestinians not interested in getting their real land back?
by Palestinians did need a state
Palestinians did need a state. They lived in peace with all their neighbors till white European Jews came in and took it away from them.
by Historian
Actually the autonomous provice of Jerusalem was as close to a country as Texas or California is today. It was a center of Christian, Moslem and Jewish learning and it exerted significant control over its own affairs, especially after the Ottoman Constitution was instituted. It also was not 400 years ago. Jordan is the fake state. No one used to live in what is now Jordan until a band of Hashemite collaboraters who "fought" for the British in WWI took over the area, founded Amman and ruled by decree. (id. see the recent elections in Jordan where blatent gerrymandering prevented people of Palestinian origin from an equal vote)
Point being, you spammers are filth.
