Anti-Capitalist/Anti-Authoritarian Gathering in Sacto June23

by RAAA/DAAA (RedLibertad [at] ziplip.com)
Gather will other anti-capitalists and anti-authoritarians in Sacramento to discuss new ideas and actions.
Call for Revolutionary Anti-Capitalist/Anti-Authoritarian SpokesCouncil in Sacramento:

When: Monday, June 23rd, 2003, 9pm.
Where: Muir Park, 15th and C St., Downtown Sac. (Four blocks from the Sac. Mob. Welcome Center).

From June 20th through the 25th, people in control over our lives, be they heads of corporate institutions, or heads of state, are coming to consolidate their power over another area of our lives: our food. The Genetic Engineering Industry will not feed the world’s hungry, but instead become another plane of out existence that is conquered, violated, and alienates us from out own personal autonomy, by people seemingly more powerful than ourselves.

We see this attack on our personal freedom to freely associate and exist to be an act of an authoritarian totality, perpetuated by capitalism, the state, and hierarchy and all of it’s so-called determined progresses.

We are calling for all revolutionary anti-capitalist/anti-authoritarians to meet together after the main spokescoucil at the Sacramento Mobilization Welcome Center (http://www.sacmobilization.org), to discuss our plans and actions. We would also like to explore ideas like an anti-authoritarian village, radical anti-capitalist bloc, and a diversity of tactics, resistance and action.

We have a world to win, and a new society to unbuild.
"To the daring belongs the future." - Emma Goldman

i think monday night will be a little late.

Moday night on June 23 is too late. The main Sacto resistance actions are going to take place on Sunday (June 22) and Monday morning-afternoon (June 23).

Perhaps the same meeting on Saturday or Sunday night would be more useful. Or on Monday @ 9:00 a.m. rather than 9pm on Monday.

P.S.
Where is the Black Bloc call? dare i....

its high time for the black bloc to get a change of threads. enough with the military code fashion regime, just bring a change of clothes to maintain anonymity, and some multicolored masks. the bb form is beginning to completely undermine its content. it worked, now it doesnt, move on. thats how the world works, people learn(i mean the cops as well as black bloc) and adapt. black bloc can protect itself a bit more and become more effective by appearing less like a cult and more like what they are- groups of people who want to tear down the relations imposed by capitalism on all our lives.

Cops aren't people, they are uniforms and guns.
Yes, they learn... SO DO VELOCIRAPTORS!

UC Davis put out a notice today asking for people to report to the police any suspicious activity, including people "wearing clothing inappropriate for the weather."

I guess they've figured out our secret tactic of wearing black, hooded-sweatshirts.

How about a White Linen Bloc? Or a Shorts and Sandals Bloc?
by get off the cross, the wood is needed
or we can just not wear black hoodies and just get a balaclava, or if you want to DIY, bring an extra black t-shirt and tie it around your face and head (neck hole where your eyes would be, so youre only showing your eyes). with that, you can walk around with a white shirt and jeans all day, then just slap on the balaclava and you're all set...

I see one of the things we're protesting are "terminator seeds". But I thought that these are used to prevent the engineered genes from moving to a native strain?

Shouldn't we be demanding that all GMO crops have terminator seeds?
