Demonstration on Mon. 6/16 with HUGE Rachel Corrie Banners
We must carry on Rachel Corrie's mission and honor the ultimate sacrifice that she made for the noble cause of justice and freedom for the Palestinian people.

The demonstration will take place on Monday, June 16th
in front of Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi's office,
450 Golden Gate Ave. between Van Ness and Larkin, at noon.
As part of a nationwide campaign to bring attention to the atrocities that US tax dollars are supporting in apartheid Israel, we will demonstrate on the 16th of every month, which is the anniversary date of the martyrdom of Rachel Corrie, the 23 year old American peace activist who was bulldozed to death by an Israeli soldier while she tried to prevent another Palestinian home from being demolished.
Every month we will demonstrate in front of various politicians' offices on a rotating basis. Our first demonstration will be in front of the office of Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, who has adamantly stated on many occasions her unconditional support for Israel, completely ignoring the ethnic cleansing campaign that Israel has been conducting for decades against the non-Jewish Palestinians to militarily maintain a Jewish supremacist state, not the true secular democratic state it claims to be.
We believe Israel's racist government must be dismantled and transformed into a true secular democracy with equal rights for all in a one-state solution of Palestine-Israel, with equal rights for all regardless of religion, ethnicity, race or sex, including for all the Palestinian refugees who must be allowed their right to return to their ancestral homeland of Palestine-Israel, as it is their right according to UN Resolutions, International Law and world opinion. We believe there must be no double standards for Israel and Zionists.
We believe that the US government should completely reverse its current policy towards Israel and pressure Israel with boycotts, sanctions, and every other means the UN would allow to transform its government into a true secular democracy with equal rights for all regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or sex. Also all the Palestinian refugees must be allowed to return and enjoy equal rights, and receive reparations for past loss and suffering.

Yes. It's what Israel did when it destroyed SCORES and SCORES of Palestinian shops in cities and towns in the Occupied Territories as a form of collective punishment -- just like the Nazis did to Jews.
Joe, I think that you and Israeli Jews have a GUILT reaction: you are afraid that Palestinians will do to Israeli Jews what Israeli Jews have been doing to Palestinians for decades.
Not to worry, Joe. Apartheid whites in South Africa didn't get pushed into the sea by 5 times as many blacks when South African Apartheid was finally abolished. (Though, before, Apartheid whites swore that black South Africans would do so.) South African whites just finally decided to accept living in a secular, democratic state with equal rights for all, like morally civilized people. How many more people in Palestine must die - Palestinians and (more important to you) Jews - before Israel finally decides to accept this?

Although BOTH parties in the Isreali-palestinian conflict seem STILL intent on inflicting damage upon each other endlessly, the hope expressed by Rachel Corrie's effort's lives! Until everyone involved (including the US) in geopolitical conflicts is willing to set aside each group's narcissistic agenda and gather around common interests REGIONALLY AND GLOBALLY in mutually assured respect we will all be sucked into a vortex of destruction and atrocity!
