On June 16, 2003, the Green Party will have a press conference to officially announce the renewed campaign of Pete Camejo for Governor on the Recall Gray Davis ballot, most likely to occur this year.
The official announcment was on the KPFA, 94.1 FM news of 6/2/03 and is in an Associated Press story in the San Jose Mercury News, 6/2/03, at:
http://www.bayarea.com/mld/mercurynews/5998750.htm
As of this moment, the Recall Gray Davis campaign has 426,664 signatures with 898,157 valid signatures needed by Sept. 2003 for the recall election. These petitions are being circulated in San Francisco and finally, this writer has had the thrill of signing it. We may not live to see the revolution, but we can live to recall the worst governor in California's history.
This writer is not a Green Party member and will only vote for a socialist candidate if one runs. Otherwise, I will just vote for the recall. I do expect a socialist candidate to run as Peace & Freedom Party is now on the ballot.
As far as I am concerned, anyone who promotes prisons, the death penalty and PG&E-So. Cal Edison-San Diego G&E, must be recalled immediately. We need to abolish prisons and the death penalty and support public power now.
All aboard the Recall Gray Davis train!

What kind of crap is this? Why not focus the resources to find a candidate to replace Bush? California got scammed by Bush and Cheney energy buddies for over $ 10 billions. We'll be far better off if we could re-coup all $10 B. What contribution has the Green done to settle this score?
There are many who could qualify for that title, but Gray Davis isn't the worst by a long shot. Now, don't get me wrong. I think he is a bottom-dweller. Maybe Davis gives a bad name to bottom-dwellers.
But some of you may not remember the infamous governorship of a bad actor by the name of Ronald Reagan. His term here put him into the White House, and now look where we are because of his neo-con ends-justifies-the-means political creed. The creeps in Washington now operate just like he did. Only they have 20 years of Reaganesque double-speak as a base to work from. And only about 3 media conglomerates to persuade to their way of thinking..that is, if anyone needs persuading.
I worked hard for the Greens in 2000, but I think it's a big, bad mistake for Camejo to get involved with these slimy bedfellows. He will soon feel like he needs a shower. The last thing progressives need to do is to fall into the neo-con trap of spoiler politics.
Sure, I am heartened by the double-winged opposition to the PATRIOT Act. But that is based on constitutional principles and we should unite behind our Bill of Rights. Not some political opportunist hayride that distracts from the real serious deadly business at hand that our commander-in-thief is plotting with his self-righteous patriarchal imperialist murdering lying cheating hypocritical advisors. I wish Damn! I wish I could think of something really nasty to say about them.

I don't have a problem Camejo running for Governor in a regular election. This re-call is another scam by the Republicans. I suggest Camejo not to get on this wicked and slimy band wagon.
Look at the state of the national economy. As soon as Bush stole the office, everything started falling off except for the energy and defense industries. California got scammed $ 10 B and Bush didn't do a damn thing. Bush and Cheney formulated the national energy policy based on Ken Lay and all the other crooks. Bush and Cheny knew damn well that these energy companies were about to massacre and pillage the nation including California.
It was one bad news after another ever since Bush took office. Do I need to say more?
