War on the Congo and on Africa: Video & Discussion

by Wendy (uhurureparations [at] yahoo.com)
Come out to discuss the real reasons behind the war on Africa and African people and what we can do about it.
From the Congo to South Africa, Africa's wealth continues to be exploited for the benefit of US and Western powers. What relationship does the United States have to the deadly war in the Congo? How does North America benefit from the ongoing misery of African people in Azania (South Africa) and across the continent.

We will discuss these questions and show video excerpts of the Uhuru Movement's recent trip to Azania (South Africa) and organizing efforts for self-determination of African people internationally.

Learn about the work of the African People's Solidarity Committee, the campaign for Truth, Reconciliation and Reparations and Uhuru Concessions, building principled and tangible white solidarity with African people through a movement for reparations.

WHEN: Tuesday night, 7 to 9pm
WHERE: Upstairs at Walden Pond Bookstore, 3316 Grand Avenue, Oakland
CONTACT: Wendy, 510-295-7834 or email uhurureparations [at] yahoo.com
