OAKLAND -- A man was shot to death Tuesday night in East Oakland while driving to get something to eat for his family, police said.
Kenneth Facen, 45, was slain in a hail of gunfire from a passing car, police said.
Homicide Sgt. Mike Foster said Wednesday, "It is pretty clear to me (Facen) was targeted."
Foster said he is not sure why Facen was killed.
He does have some theories but he would not disclose what they are.
No one has been arrested in the case.
Facen, a laborer, had just returned from a camping trip with his family and was going to get food for the family.
