More photos from May 19th Actions for Racial Justice

On May 19th Bay Area organizations pulled together a day of actions against racism and the war at home. Through a series of 3 actions, (a rally at San Francisco City Hall, civil disobedience at the Israeli Consulate, and a final rally at the Oakland police station), the day drew out the connections between the occupations by the U.S. abroad (Iraq, Afghanistan, support for Israel... etc,) and the occupations of our communities by police and other forms of state violence, and the gutting of social service money for our communities here in the United States.
