Bay to Breakers Reporting
The Chronicle and Examiner coverage of striken runner at Sunday's Albertson's Bay to Breakers race.
At the race on Sunday I witnessed this unidentified runner fall and go into cardiac arrest - he appeared to be in his mid twenties - he was taken off to St Mary's hospital in San Francisco, his fate is unknown.
Today's chronicle and Examiner website failed to mention this incident, but gave plenty of coverage to the naked joggers, coporate sponsered runners and beer drinking frat boys. Is this an oversite on part of the mainstream media?
Maybe someones brush with death at the Bay to Breakers is'nt considered news?
I wonder what happened to this person?
