Politics of Rave

by Sarah McAleer - DQ (dqloves [at] yahoo.com)
As with any culture there is a system of organization which sustains it's structure. Most people see raves as disorganized chaos, fun and excess created by kids. The reality is rave culture is a strong force held together by music and by it's own alternative position in mainstream society. Politics of Rave opens up sensitive issues such as drugs, music and government for both sides to see. So that maybe even as names change and music tastes evolve the essence of rave will remain p.l.u.r, peace love unity and respect.
