On Saturday, May 17th, a collection of peace-loving teachers, students, artists, bike advocates, and people like you will be gathering and biking from the Arcata Farmers’ Market to the monthly Critical Mass in San Francisco on Friday, May 30th. Bike For Peace promotes alternatives to war and fossil fuel use through the direct act of biking. We hope to spur our collective imaginations, offering ourselves as mobile street theatre and working with local communities along the route to stage bike fixing parties, teach-ins, alternative energy demonstrations and premeditated preemptive fun.
