Chevron/Texaco boycott...
GASOLINE BOYCOTT FOR PEACE...
Join the gasoline resistance for PEACE!
Want gasoline prices to come down?
Want to resist a U.S. led war on Iraq?
I hear that the price of gasoline in the U.S. is going to hit close to $3.00 a gallon by summer.
If so, then together we need to take unified action asap which will keep the largest oil companies in the world in check.
Please read on and join in with us...
With war looming closer and closer, and with the price of gasoline rising more and more each day, we gasoline consumers need to take action.
With the national price of regular unleaded gasoline presently at $1.70 per gallon and rising, we need to take action now to teach these companies that buyers control the marketplace, not sellers.
Also, you are likely to agree that we need to teach the U.S. government that the PEOPLE through economic BOYCOTT have the POWER to determine international politics, not politicians!
PROFIT IS ALL CORPORATIONS UNDERSTAND...
The only way we are going to stop the the Bush Administration's profit driven war on Iraq, and bring the price of gas down, is if we hit corporate gasoline giants in the pocketbook by not purchasing their gas!
But how?
Since we all rely on our cars, we can't just stop buying gas.
We CAN however have an IMPACT on the political push for war, and on presently increasing gas prices, if we act together now to force a PRICE WAR between gasoline mega-corporations, and if we continue our boycott until a U.S. led war and/or the potential of that war has ceased.
Here's the idea:
For the rest of 2003, in the name of peace DO NOT purchase any gasoline from the two biggest multi-billion dollar oil companies in the U.S. which have actually merged now into one company), EXXON and MOBIL.
http://www.exxonmobil.com/corporate/
If they are not selling any gas, they will be forced to reduce their prices. If they reduce their prices, the other companies will have to follow suit to compete. (This forces the price war.)
And with a firm PEACE message behind as to why we are boycotting Exxon and Mobile, we can acheive two goals:
1) We can deter the impending U.S. profit driven war on Iraq, and 2) we can fight against the rising cost of gasoline.
The reason we conclude that this will work politically for the cause of PEACE is because the U.S. government and oil industry corporate giants are so highly integrated together presently in intent and purpose.
Waging an economic boycott against oil mega-corporations right now is like striking economically directly against those determining pro-war U.S. foreign policy in our government because we have determined them to be largely one and the same. (i.e. Our government's interest is now the billion dollar oil company's interest, and not that of the American people.)
But, to have the impact we intend, we will need to reach literally millions of Exxon and Mobil gas buyers.
Fortunately, via the internet, this is now possible...
Here's how it can work mathematically...
I have sent this e-mail to about 100 people.
If half of them (the half out there who didn't vote for Bush and/or all of those who are against the war) send it to at least ten more...
(50 x 10 = 500)...
and 250 of those 500 send it to at least ten more...
(250 x 10 = 2,500)...
and so on, by the time this message reaches the sixth generation of people, we will have reached over a MILLION gasoline consumers!
If half of those people pass this on to ten friends each, then over 5 MILLION PEOPLE will have been contacted!
If it goes one level further, then over 25 MILLION PEOPLE will have been reached!!!
***Again, all you have to do is send this to 10 people and DON'T purchase ANY gasoline from EXXON and MOBIL. That's all.***
How long would all this take? If half of us sends this email out to ten or more people within one day of receipt, over FIVE HUNDRED MILLION people could conceivably be contacted within 9 days!!!
I'll bet you didn't think we had that much power, but when we act together through the economic boycott of those corporations whose policies we oppose, we can make the difference!
OUR MOTTO IS:
NO PEACE... NO FAIR GASOLINE PRICES...
NO END TO THE PEOPLE'S BOYCOTT OF EXXON AND MOBIL.
If this makes some sense to you, then pass it on and...
PLEASE CONTINUE YOUR BOYCOTT UNTIL THE U.S. PRE-EMPTIVE WAR ON IRAQ (WHICH PRESENTLY HAS OPPOSITION FROM GERMANY, RUSSIA, FRANCE, CHINA, AND THE UNITED NATIONS) IS STOPPED!
PLEASE ALSO CONTINUE YOUR BOYCOTT UNTIL GASOLINE PRICES ARE LOWERED TO $1.30 PER GALLON AND KEPT DOWN.
(The author of this e-mail also recommends that all concerned Americans consider seriously the purchasing of electric and/or hybrid vehicles.)
(The above idea was adopted from a recently circulated gasoline resistance e-mail offered by Phillip Hollsworth to decrease the price of gasoline.)

[Please do not spam. Please pass on to friends, relatives, and associates only.]
