Aftermath- Fills the Herbst Theatre!
The new investigative documentary- Aftermath- Unanswered Questions from 9-11 by Guerrilla News Network filled the the Herbst Theatre, hundreds had to be turned away. Of the thousand people polled in the audience, more than half felt that "Bush knew" or was "complicite" in 9-11 after seeing the film.
Three hundred people waited in line outside the Herbst Theatre last night, when the last seat was sold. An enthusiastic audience gave a standing ovation to the Sundance Award winning- Guerrilla News Network who presented two short documentaries and Aftermath- Unanswered Questions from 9-11. The applause extended to voices in the film- Michael Ruppert, Peter Dale Scott, Riva Enteen, who spoke briefly before the panel opened to questions. Moderating the panel was Barrie Zwicker, producer of The Great Deception, the pathbreaking documentary which challenged the official 9-11 narrative over a year ago. Barrie began by questioning the audience-
“Who believed that elements of the U.S. government, not just knew , but actively participated in the highjackings of 9-11 , were in a word complicite?”
More than 75% of the audience raised their hands.
His third question-
“How many believe, to condense the situation into two words, “Bush knew”?
50% of the audience raised their hands.
Some of the key questions about 9/11 raised in the film:
What did the Bush Administration know and when?
Why wasn¹t the US military able to intercept the hijacked planes?
How did the administration respond to the failures of the military and Intelligence agencies on 9/11?
What ties, if any, did the US government and Intelligence agencies have with the terrorists or their supporters?
Were there plans for a war in central Asia prior to September 11?
Is there any historical evidence to suggest that the government may have used the 9/11 attacks to justify its war in Central Asia?
How has the government¹s reaction to the terrorist attacks affected the rule of law in the United States?
How has recent legislation like the PATRIOT ACT and the Homeland Security bill affected the lives of American people?
What can we do?
Tonight Aftermath will be shown again, this time at Spangenberg Theatre in Palo Alto and since today is Earth Day, April 22, Richard Heinberg, author of The Party’s Over: Oil, War and the Fate of Industrial Societies will be joining the panel to address the stark truths and choices facing humanity at this critical juncture in human history.
Michael Ruppert has lectured extensively on 9-11; he is currently finishing a book on the topic entitled Crossing the Rubicon. Peter Dale Scott’s latest work: Drugs, Oil, and War: the United States in Afghanistan, Colombia, and Indochina, was published March 28th. Riva Enteen, has been on the forefront defending the attacks upon civil rights in this country.
There will be a reception at 5:30 p.m. preceding the 7:30 p.m. screening. Spangenberg Theatre is located at Gunn High School, 780 Arastradero Road, Palo Alto. Advance tickets suggested through City Box Office (415)392-4400. ($25-with reception, $10 regular, $7 for seniors and students)

I would have liked to have seen this but I figured it would be sold out. is it available for rental?
cause I got to say, otherwise, charging $25 per ticket and only 2 local shows smells like making money off 9-11

How much do you think it costs to rent the Herbst? And then, how do you think this event was put together? And then, wouldn't you TOO like to see someone expose the 9/11 charade? Unless you're standing up to do it yourself, then I'd rather pay these people to continue to work on it. It's not going to get done for free, or even with our tax money, which will fund a fake investigation the likes of the Warren Commission.
I don't know about rental, but you can get Aftermath from the GNN site. GNN is a great org.

It was $25 for the film and the panel discussion etc. Not bad at all. And it was $10, I think, for the film only. Pretty standard I'd say. What I don't get is how many "lefties" and such think that poor is great! If you may have noticed, the Zionist groups charge tons for their events and have tons to throw at politicians too! Money is power in case you haven't noticed. DUH! The ADL charges $250 per person for their events and lefties cry about $25!!! Catch a clue! Maybe you better start working harder because poor people always get the short end of the stick and end up suffering. So better get with it and make some money and support the causes and events that at least speak for the truth and justice! If we don't support these kinds of truthsayers and justice seekers, they will burn out! Then where will we be! Better change your thinking.
go on and stack that paper, i know the content is legit cuz of those names behind it.
however, i wish they would have been sellin videos in the lobby last night, cuz i got there after it had already sold out. i was ready to buy one of thems.
ain't nothin wrong with puttin information out to the public, and as i have found out from years of hustlin, people don't really respect stuff that's free as much as they respect stuff they gots ta pay for anyway.
it's sad, but that's the consumer mentality afflicting americans.
of course, americans are also smart, and know how to bootleg sh!t that's overpriced for no reason....

I think the subject of 9-11 is pretty important, and if this film goes a long way towards exposing and keeping questions surrounding 9-11 in the public eye, well I htink that's great. but I also think it's a more important issue than one that should be limited to not-enough-seats, one-time-only in the rarified atmosphere of the herbst theater. too bad they couldn't have screened it for 2 weeks at the red vic is all I mean. and if you don't understand that, and want to moan about thousand dollar plate dinners that various oligarchs can have, well, you've missed my point entirely.
thanks for the link to the gnn site though

I am glad to hear the expose of the Reichstag Fire of 9/11/01 perpetrated by the US military and the CIA had a sellout crowd. The prices were very reasonable, and the cause excellent.
I do wish you would stop using the word "attacks" and start using the term Reichstag Fire, as no outside force attacked the US. Those planes were operated by the US Air Force on automatic pilot; there were no hijackers on that plane. This was the CIA's Operation Northwoods realized, a project approved by the entire Joint Chiefs of Staff and only vetoed by Defense Sec McNamara to do agent provocateur actions like blow up a US airplane and blame Cuba so as to have an excuse to invade Cuba in the 1960s.
I wish all the speakers at this meeting would make an effort to speak at the peace rallies and present the 9/11/01 events as a Reichstag Fire. So far, there is no discussion whatsoever from the platform of the peace rallies on this Reichstag Fire, and that is outrageous and inexcusable. All we hear from that stage are the stinking, worthless Democrats, covering up for their warmongering party, and religious parasites. We should never have either.
We should have the scientific community on that stage, including the medical community describing the theft of our tax dollars from healthcare for war; the public power community, demonstrating the blood for oil wars only benefit the private profit power companies, and the aerospace-engineering community, as well as the above-named speakers, demonstrating that 9/11/01 was a Reichstag Fire.
Like the original Reichstag Fire, the 9/11/01 Reichstag Fire was done by the capitalist ruling class of Nazi USA to perpetrate fascism at home and war abroad, so as to maximize the profits of the capitalist class. Every forum you can use to expose the facts of the Reichstag Fire of 9/11/01 should be used.
Again, congratulations and keep up the good work.

To clarify, the tix only cost $10. As someone who produces shows at the Herbst, I know that $10 is incredible low and you don't make on those ticket prices. Kudos to Carol for putting on the event, on getting this film shown. As one of the panelists said on Monday night, we need to get this film shown in Wichita or wherever he said.

Everybody has to see this video. And think about the actual evidence that has been given for the 'official' 9-11 story. Personally I haven't seen the prove of Osama's Al Qaeda sole perpetrator role in the attacks.

Smells like making money? Things may not be the way they smell.
As an unpaid volunteer at both events, I know that the organizers were lucky to BREAK EVEN. Renting the Herbst is not cheap, and the organizers put a lot of their own money in these events. Their primary goal has been to get out this information, which is not easily found in the left media. Anything above the break even mark is to go to printing more Deception Dollars (ubiquitous at most protest events in the SF Bay Area AND the East Coast) and given out for free in small quantities at those events and elsewhere (donations are asked for bundles to help cover printing costs).
http://www.deceptiondollar.com
As for the $25 dollar ticket, this was an option which included a catered reception and also gave people the opportunity to speak with the panelists before the event. The cost helped pay for rental of the Green Room for the reception (in the Herbst, again not cheap) , catering for the reception, and transportation and lodging for some of the panelists (including two from Canada).
If you noticed, the actual event, which consisted of a screening of Aftermath, a couple of GNN's shorts, a panel discussion and a Q & A afterwards, was only $10 for the general public and $7 for students/seniors. In the end, the event minus the reception lasted for approximately three to four hours, so I don't believe that those prices were unreasonable.

Yeah, sure, Americans are smart enough to bootleg something. Or just walk in the backdoor if the event is sold out. Sometimes technology can be a distraction, no?
anyhow, it was a great show. [sidenote:The *!@* in front of me crumpled an anti-ANSWER/anti-LaRouche flyer. He didn't exactly strike me as an avid freedom-of-expression-type. Cutting off discussion only serves to raise the question: why are _you_ crumpling this? what do _you_ have to gain? As would be seen by the abundance of conspiracists who can easily shatter the credibility of a government that insists on secrecy, right or wrong. Which is usually wrong.] I do wonder, though, about San Francisco anti-war activists. It's kind of like being a coach on the couch for the SuperBowl.
