Come join us for a video screening of "Shots on the Docks," a documentary of Oakland police force's recent unprovoked, violent attacks on anti-war protesters at the Oakland port.
ILWU longshoreman and anti-war activist Jack Heyman, who was targeted for arrest, will speak.
Also featuring Korea's Labor News Production founder, Myoung Joon Kim, speaking on the workers' movement in Korea and its opposition to the US imperialist war. Chris Bailey, of the Liverpool Dockworkers and the founder of European Internet Rights Committee will discuss Bulgarian workers' fights against privatization and for democratic communications.
The evening will also include punk/folk banjo by Larry Shaw.
