Who wants to be seen with a football player? These are the gladiators in a stinking gambling racket called professional football. The 49er football team is a notorious member of Willie Brown's election fraud team and should get out of San Francisco immediately. Read all 150 pages of the election fraud website on the 49er Stadium Swindle election of June 3, 1997 when we voted 70% No on this stinking swindle and the 49ers and their election frauding pals, including Willie Brown, Glide Church, Nation of Islam, Walden House, Housing Authority, A. Philip Randolph Institute, TURF, San Francisco Police, Democratic Central Committee, Republican Central Committee, Chamber of Commerce changed it to 50.2% yes. The 49ers had the gall to try to stop our lawsuit to repeal these results. That website is:

It was the socialist Peace & Freedom Party and the Green Party that opposed this stinking rotten stadium swindle.

It is scholars who are the best role models for young people. Young people need to be told to get A's in school in every subject, wit h a full day of academic subjects and they should strive to become something that requires that one be an A student in serious academic subjects.

Hey SF Voter/Socialist/Peacenik,

Live a little, okay? I agree with you on the stadium swindle but this player is just trying to do some good. And with Americans getting fatter every day, we could do worse than encourage children to play and exercise.

Have to agree with the guy above. Yes, the stadium swindle is a scam, yes, the deBartolos are a shady bunch, yes, football is linked to the rackets. However, most of the players have nothing to do with any of this.
You mention that scholars are the real role models. This is true. However, Andre Carter was a SCHOLAR/ATHLETE who went to Berkeley and got good grades and a degree, unlike many of the other thugs in sports. Ever heard of Adonal Foyle? Plays for the Golden State Warriors. He spends his free time and money campaigning for good causes like campaign finance reform. Confusing the corruption in the 49er organization with people like Andre Carter is like blaming a GM assembly line worker for the crimes of the senior management. Don't oversimplify reality, people are more complex than that.....

It’s good to see someone doing something positive for his community. SF Voter sounds like your typical Jocks vs. Nerds whiner whom still holds anguish over being picked on by the “Jocks” during his High School years and desperately seeks to get the attention and love that the “Jocks” get today.

If you feel so strongly about the role model aspect, then the Peace & Freedom Party and the Green Party should do their own fund raising events to benefit the Pilgrim Center and bring in scholars such as doctors, inventers, or writers to serve as role models for your fund raising event.
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
