Iraq Redemption

The only way we can begin to redeem our nation over our illegal war in Iraq is to allow the UN to lead the reconstruction. The carpetbaggers Bush has chosen to run Iraq will only confirm worldwide suspicions about dishonest US motives. We proved that we have the brawn to depose a tyrant but we clearly lack the brains (or will) to do the job right. Bush's disdain for diplomacy, rejection of democratic values (at home and abroad) and his abandonment of the people of Afghanistan are a testament to this. That he used lies and our fears to manipulate us into accepting this war of aggression is reprehensible, perhaps treasonous. We simply can't trust him to rebuild Iraq any more than we can trust him to run our own nation. For everyone's sake let the UN back in and impeach this "President" of ours. The lies Bush has spoken and lives lost as a result are far worse transgressions than Clinton's lies about his sex life.
