Over 80,000 Protest Iraq Invasion in Moscow
Over 80,000 Protest Iraqi invasion in front of US Embassy In Moscow.
The following is a report from the Voice of Russia ( International Broadcasting Service of Russia ) Web page on an over 80,000 strong protest against the Iraqi Invasion in front of the US Embassy in Moscow. I have not seen this story posted on any of the IMCs so I'd thought I'd share this with you:
A resolution after and over 80-thousand-strong peace rally outside the US Embassy in Moscow accuses the Americans of spilling streams of innocent blood in the course of their Iraq war. It says the war must be stopped and the management of the Iraqi crisis must be returned to the United Nations. Police surrounded the Embassy with metal fences and concrete slabs.
For some really strong anti - US Imperialism News coverage check out the News broadcasts from the Voice of Russia. They broadcast in English from 8 pm until 2 am Pacific Time. http://www.vor.ru/Audio/audio_eng.phtml
The citizens of the US better wake up because Russia is very unhappy about US plans to control the globe. It is very evident in their news coverage, ie using terms like "enemy forces" when describing the invading forces that the US calls "coalition forces".
