THEY STRIKE And DEATH THREATEN AN ESQUEL NEIGHBOR
This time they struck and death threatened with a gun to our neighbor and active militant of the “Assembly of Selfsummoned Neighbors for NO to the Mine”, Sandro (Hair) Holmes.
At the Hospital of Esquel´s front door, just before getting into his car, Holmes was come up by four unknown men who struck and threatened him.
These threats, altoghether with the intimidations to Lucas Fosatti and the presence of the American advisers of the Canadian company Meridian Gold who are asking for interviews to "representative" neighbors of the Assembly, constitute an example of the great power of the company which does not want to understand that 81% of the population of Esquel said NO to the mining project at Esquel.

We demand the Provincial Government of Chubut to take the necessary measures to protect the physical integrity of the neighbor Sandro Holmes and his family, and to look into the identities of the people responsible for these threats and those threats that have been happeing since November to other neighbors of Esquel.
