Mutilation of Ancient Jerry

These photos, of before and after, show the mutilation inflicted upon the ancient Redwood, Jerry, in whose branches Remedy spend 361 days, without touching the ground, defending the tree's right to exist. Remedy was forcibly removed from Jerry by three men hired by Pacific Lumber / Maxxam. After Remedy was removed Jerry was reoccupied by the brave heroine named Mystique. After Mystique was taken down, in one of the most dangerous extractions ever witnessed, Climber Eric was not to be satisfied until he delimbed the 1200 year old tree. This dispicable act was only to demonstrate his power over the moment and PLs complete disregard for the last unprotected, ancient Redwoods. For over 1,000 years Jerry has held up this steep and unstable slope in the very degraded Freshwater watershed. The degradation is due to PL's liquidation logging practices. Unless PL reduces their rate of harvest, Freshwater is facing permanent damage.
