Earlier in the day, two peace activists were shot by Isreali troops in the West Bank city of Jenin.
An American activist working as a human shield in the West Bank city of Jenin was seriously wounded when Israeli troops opened fire on him and two others, the International Solidarity Movement said.
Brian Avery, 24, from Albuquerque, New Mexico, had come out of his apartment building to investigate shots being fired on the streets when an amored personnel carrier rounded a corner, said Tobias Karlsson, 30, a member of the Palestinian-backed group from Stockholm, Sweden.
