from David Hartsough:
Dear Friends,
I would like to invite you to join me at the Interfaith Worship service at
the Federal Building in San Francisco Friday morning at 9am followed by
Civil Disobedience for those whose Spirit leads them to do so. We must
continue resisting this horrendous, immoral and illegal war as we work to
help create a positive alternative, the Nonviolent Peaceforce. A flyer
about the Witness is attached. Please invite your friends and spread the
word with others. For those of you who would like to see some of the first
hand reports from members of the Iraq Peace Team in Iraq, see their website
http://www.iraqpeaceteam.org
Keep Hope Alive!
Hope to see you Friday.
Peace,
David

THe nonviolent guidelines for the vigil and witness are:
1) Our attitude will be one of openness and respect toward all we
encounter in our actions.
2) We will use no violence, verbal or physical, toward any person.
3) We will not destroy or damage any property.
4) We will carry no weapons.
5) We will not bring any drugs or alcohol, other than for medicinal
purposes.
6) We will not run or resist arrest; we will remain accountable for our
actions as a means of furthering our witness to the injustice of this
war.
