FRESNO - WOMEN IN BLACK
Women in Black hold a silent vigil for peace on the first Wednesday of every month from Noon - 1 PM at the breeze way of the Fresno County Courthouse. This was the first gathering since the U.S. invasion of Iraq. The women were joined by a homeless man and his dog on this windy and wet spring day. They held signs which included “United Against War” and “No War for Oil.” For more information about Women In Black call (559) 278-7140 or (559) 225-2850.
