March's month's Critical Mass was awesome. To me, it looked like AT LEAST 2000 cyclists!

We zigzagged through SOMA, visiting several freeway entrances (all heavily guarded by CHP). We passed in front of city hall and from there, headed toward Union Square. On the way, we merged with a large group of marchers at O'Farrell and Powell.

At Union Square, I think the Ride split up - some headed north, and others went south, including my friend & I. We headed to Market, up to Sansome and then north again to Broadway. In the Fin. Dist., we were spotlighted by helicopters - spooky!

Heading west on Broadway, we shut down the big intersection at Columbus for a couple of fun moments before visiting Chinatown. When we got to Powell, the other Critical Swarm was coming through the Broadway Tunnel from the west. From here, everybody was heading north. I heard 'Golden Gate Bridge' and 'PacBell Park' as possible destinations. My friend & I were thirsty - we decided to split and headed west through the tunnel and then home.
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
