The Iraqi Alamo?
A Re-working of the classic story of the Battle of the Alamo
As a Citizen of the frigid country of Soviet Canuckistan, I am not well versed in the story of the heroic defense of the Alamo, save that the defenders all died, and the Mexican Army triumphed. Being the hopelessly idle comrade that I am, I was thinking that it might be an interesting 'thought experiment' to rework the entire story of the Alamo, replacing the defenders with the actively fighting Iraqi forces, and the Mexican Army with The Coalition of the Willing. This might explain why the Iraqi forces are still fighting an all but lost war? Maybe they follow the creed of 'my country, right or wrong, but my country'.
