Syria next? Israel accuses Syria of hiding Iraq's WMD. This war is for Israel and oil.
Colin Powell addressed AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) yesterday and told them that Syria was next in the US's sights. Will the American people stop this madness? Or are Arab lives so cheap that we can slaughter and "domesticate" them for Israel (Syria has no oil).
Iraqi weapons of mass destruction may be hidden in Syria: Israel

JERUSALEM (AFP) - Iraqi chemical and biological weapons may be hidden in Syria, a senior Israeli intelligence officer told a parliamentary committee.
"It is possible Iraq (news - web sites) transferred missiles and weapons of mass destruction into Syria," General Yossi Kupperwasser told the committee.
He said the transfer could be one explanation as to why US-led forces scouring suspect sites in western Iraq had found nothing so far, the radio said Monday.
His remarks came as US Secretary of State Colin Powell (news - web sites) warned both Syria and Iran to stop backing terrorists, two days after another top US official warned them to stay out of the US-led war on Iraq.

Secretary of State Colin Powell delivered stern warnings to Syria and Iran to stop supporting terrorists, two days after another top US official warned them to stay out of the US-led war on Iraq .
"It is now time for the entire international community to step up and insist that Iran end its support for terrorists, including groups violently opposed to Israel and to the Middle East peace process," Powell said here late Sunday.
"Tehran must stop pursuing weapons of mass destruction and the means to deliver them," he told a meeting of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, an influential Jewish lobby group.
"Syria now faces a critical choice," he added. "Syria can continue direct support for terrorist groups and the dying regime of Saddam Hussein , or it can embark on a different and more hopeful course.
Either way, Syria bears the responsibility for its choices, and for the consequences."
Powell's warnings came two days after Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld on Friday told Iran and Syria not to interfere in the war on Iraq.
Rumsfeld accused Tehran of allowing hundreds of Iran-based fighters of Iraq Shiite Muslim opposition to cross the Iraqi border, and said Syria was allowing military supplies for the Iraqi army to be shipped across its borders.
Syria and Iran strenuously denied the charges.
Powell couched his warnings Sunday as "part of our overall strategy in combatting terrorism and dealing with states that do not follow acceptable patterns of behavior."
Washington considers both Syria and Iran state sponsors of terrorism.
And, on a day when he was to meet with Israeli Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom, Powell evoked Washington's visions for a larger role in the Middle East beyond the war in Iraq.

The Americans bomb a passenger bus close to the Syrian border and don't even apologise. An Iraqi soldier kills himself attacking US marines and it is an act of "terrorism''. And now Secretary of State Colin Powell announces – to the American-Israeli Public Affairs Committee, the largest Israeli lobby group in the US who of course support this illegal war – that Syria and Iran are "supporting terror groups'' and will have to "face the consequences''.

You are simpletons. The US interferes with almost every part of this planet. The arab world hates Israel. That does not mean that anything the US does against any leader, government or country in the arab world is for israel's sake, necessarily. It is stupid and ignorant to make that assumption. Using that logic, you can accuse the US of doing almost everything they do for someone else's benefit. Dumb.
