§hard to take them seriously

If these people actually want to get a message out that they want to stop the war, they should try to think in terms of what the general population will take seriously. Nobody looks at a sign about eating mushrooms and takes the protestor holding this sign seriously. I could take this a step further: if you REALLY want people to take you seriously, dress somewhat normal, cut your hair, ditch the eyebrow rings, and dye your hair back to a normal color.

Being different for the sake of being different only alienates you from the majority and makes you look like the fringe group are at heart.

(I'll time how long it takes for someone to censor this post and delete it like a true free-speech advocate)
