Seattle: Zionists Attack Pro-Palestinian Activists at Anti-War Protest

by Earl (e_olafson [at] yahoo.com)
Zionist thought police try to discredit diverse coalition of pro-Palestine activists by calling them "nazis" and "anti-semites."
March 22, 2003

During today's Seattle anti-war protests a loose coalition of pro-Palestinian activists calling themselves "Friends of Rachel Corrie" and carrying signs inscribed with "NO MORE WARS FOR ISRAEL" were verbally abused by Zionists who aggressively asked "What's wrong with Israel?" and shouted abuse against Palestinians and Rachel Corrie.

Although the group of anti-Zionist protestors was racially diverse, including representatives of the European American, Palestinian, and Asian Pacific Islander communities, all of whom were carrying signs, the Zionists made derogatory statements implying that the protestors were all "nazis." Viewpoints expressed by pro-Palestinian protestors were diverse, but the Zionists parsed every leaflet handed out during the protest, and arrogantly proclaimed every piece of literature to be the work of "white supremacists" and, typically, "nazis." This is reminiscent of the reaction of radical Zionists to a visit by pope John Paul II, when Zionists painted swastikas over the helicopter landing pad from which the pontiff disembarked for his visit to the Holy Land.

Friends of Rachel Corrie members were spotted in an argument with a Zionist, who demanded to know "What's wrong with Israel?" When one member responded that running over girls with bulldozers was wrong, the Zionist immediately screamed "Shut up!" and then proceeded to verbally abuse other activists.

A number of sign-holding activists were asked who funded the signs. When members responded that it was a mutual effort, they were derided as "paid for."

Zionist thought police have proven that their agenda, which includes murdering American activists while demolishing Palestinian people's homes, is far more important than efforts to expose the truth about the war against Iraq. If anything, this should serve as a wake-up call to sincere activists who are trying to halt the dispossession of indigenous peoples across the globe.

Since there are a couple of Zionists buzzing around on SF indymedia denouncing Seattle pro-Palestinian protestors, I thought I'd bring this to the comments board.

This is what really happened, and it provides a window into paranoid Zionist psychology. The truth about the Seattle demonstration is that the anti-Zionist signs and protestors were the most popular of all. Everyone, with the exception of precisely two Zionists, one radical woman (Trotskyite, probably Zionist too), one cop, two pro-war demonstrators, and one run of the mill Communist (worker's world?), viewed the presence of the anti-Zionist, pro-Palestinian activists as a positive thing.

So what do SF indymedia's resident ADL snitches have to say about that?
