I'm sorry, the majority of people who got arrested were simply misdemeanor charges and the law enforcement will not "throw the book at you" for that reason. Interpol will not be using that arrest, the FBI may take an interest but protesting is not "sabatoging the USA". ANSWER has a tactic of cordoning off an area the size of an intersection at the head of a march. On 3-22 this had the effect of leading marchers away from the freeway that could have easily been shut down by the demonstration. Instead of continuing towards the highway their human cordon took a right on Mission Street.
