in an effort to break the spirits of demonstrators, San Francisco Police have confiscated the bicycle mounted sound system that protestors have been using since Thursday morning to maintain the energy of the crowd and disseminate information. the sound system was up and running at 7th and Market Streets on Saturday evening, as hundreds of officers and demonstrators faced off. suddenly several officers stormed the sidewalk, surrounded the broadcasters, and dragged the bicycle and trailer into the street. the bicycle and soundsystem were violently thrown inside a waiting SFPD pickup truck, which immediately left the scene.

It was damn inconsiderate of activists excercising their right to dissent when cops had a donut convention to go to.
