MEDIA ALERT: Demand coverage of civilian deaths
Demand information from the media!
Yesterday the United States dropped more than
1500 bombs and missiles on Baghdad, a city the size
of Los Angeles. It is unfathomable that such a
devastating bombing attack would not result in
massive death and destruction. Yet the national TV
news last evening made no mention of civilian casualties.
How many houses were destroyed yesterday? How
many people killed? What was it like for children who
heard bombs exploding around them all day long?
TAKE ACTION:
Please call the national television media immediately
and insist that they cover the reality on the ground
in Baghdad: they must find out about how many
innocentpeople have been killed and tell us what is
really going on there. The job of the media is to
report the truth, not only the version of reality
that the Bush Administration would like the public
to believe.
Remember your comments are taken more seriously
when you maintain a polite tone.

Um, given the Iraqi propensity for exageration, and they do exagerate, the US bombimg of Baghdad couldn't have had more then 3 civilian deaths and 207 injured. I'm sorry. This is a dead fish. If there were more the Iraqi's would have claimed more.
Now Basra...that could be interesting.
