Black Bloc Eyewitness
These are some things I witnessed happening yesterday about property destruction, I wanted to make sure it was known because it seemed like this kind of stuff was widespread throughout the city.
1) Military recruiting center was destroyed. Windows smashed, people broke open the front door, tons of files and whatever else could be found was thrown into the street. Tons of graffiti. There were no cops around whatsoever.
2) The Citicorp building on Market St. had a huge window smashed out. Then someone threw a smokebomb into the building.
3) Shortly after this, a "peace nazi" protester ran up to someone in a mask and accused them of doing this (they didn't, I saw the whole thing). The peace nazi tried to detain this kid. Then, 3 of his friends came up and shoved the guy to the ground so their friend could get away. Peace nazis have to go!
4) Some windows around Powell & Market were smashed out of the Bank of Amerikkka building.
5) A group of protesters shoved a dumpster on wheels through a line of riot cops.
6) A group of cops were surrounded by protesters and taunted repeatedly. The cops were told they were going to be detained and sent to jail. Then one of them struck a protester with a nightstick. The protesters responded by punching and kicking the cops. I guess the violence went the other way in this case.
There were more incidents but I am in a hurry! VIVA LA REVOLUCION!

Keep up the good work friends out in San Francisco! If the capitalists are going to fight a war, we need to take our class war to their stores and suites.
This is the first week in the global war against American fascism. There will be many more battles ahead of us, but we will win this war.
Beware of those peace nazis. They tend to be closet violent types who masquerade as nonviolent activists. Be sure to explain to these dense people that calling the police on other activists is a form of the worse violence.
A big shout out to the thousands of people who blocked the streets yesterday. Your brave actions will inspire millions of Americans to say no to the US war machine.

i've had my experiences with the peace nazis before, encountered one on march 15th- tall white guy, with light colored hair, sorta dirty blond, goatee pushed me towards a line of cops. He kept telling me to sacrifice myself and to save my actions for when the war started. I agree turning in fellow marchers is the worse form of violence. My uncle in el salvador was turned in to the army over there by a fellow guerillero- my uncle was taken to a political prison, ortured and killed. Traitors like the ones that turned in my uncle met similar fates for their traitorous actions. Just some food for thought for the peace nazis out there.
LONG LIVE ANARCHY FOREVER
LONG LIVE ANARCHY FOREVER
You guys kill me. You're just like George Bush, using violence to further your agenda. Total hypocrisy.
I bet you don't even allow this message to be posted, since you only believe free speech is for those who agree with you.
You are causing untold damage to the peace movement with your actions.

I think some people are forgetting that this is a protest for PEACE and SOLIDARITY. I fail to understand how breaking store windows and antagonizing police officers is helping our cause. On the contrary, it trivializes the entire movement and makes it easy for people to write the march off as immature, reactionary, and negative. All you so-called "Anarchists" are forgetting that the true theory of Anarchy is one of peace and responsibility, not riot and chaos, which is the current pop-culture definition.
Let's work together to make change and be seen as a positive force and viable alternative.

Those of you who arguing that black bloc, anarchist, and militant actions hurt the "peace movement" don't understand that there is no "one" peace movement. There are actually several peace and anti-war movements. I belong to the "class war" anti-war movement, like many other anarchists, communists, and radicals. We are against using the word "peace" to describe what we are fighting for. Speaking for myself, I support the activism that the peace and other anti-war movements engage in, although I don't agree with al of it.
As for certain actions hurting the image of the peace movement [sic{, it seems that American activists need to see the big picture instead of worrying about their reputation. Most of the folks who are turned off by militant actions are pro-war people who don't give a damn what protesters do, since we are all "hippy peaceniks." What's more important is that these tactics are used by people around the world. If anything, the militant actions yesterday were too tame, given the war crimes that the US regime is currently engaged in.
