Some years ago a manufacturer of CS gas stopped selling its products to the IDF because it did not want to be held liable for any injuries or deaths caused by its gross misuse by the IDF. The manufacturer stated that it was intended for outdoor applications only, like "crowd control" not house to house fumigation, the manner in which it was being used by the IDF. Perhaps Caterpiller could be reminded of product liability issues.
