Spartacists Call for Revolutionary Internationalist Contingents at March 15 Protests

Sparts' message is a step up from the pacifist dellusions of the ANSWER and other liberal groupings, but their defense of the "degenerated worker's states," ie state capitalist countries is typical of trotskyist groups. If the Sparts want to be relevent in this new phase of growing proletarian unity, they need to start supporting the new proletarian uprisings instead of the stalinist dinosaurs which are already being subsumed to "western" capitalism. No "military blocs," only blocks with the proletariat!

The Sparts wield Marxist rhetoric like a sledgehammer. Absolutely no sense of finesse or poetry. It's a shame, really, because despite all that I was considering joining you until I realized it was a contingent in the main march, and not a breakaway.

all new contingents must be asked the same question: will you continue marching with the breakaway group? or will you go to IAC's rally and stop?

I first saw the spartacists when they were yelling at some other communists (Michael Parenti even) for not being communist enough. They like bullhorns, and like the ISO, I think they like getting college students to 'lead' the masses who just wouldn't know what to do without them.
