CSUS Protest
A brief update on the protest at California State University, Sacramento.
In coordination with several hundred other schools around the country, California State University, Sacramento was the site of an anti-war demonstration.
Though brief, the protest was well attended considering various factors such as the time at which it took place and the fact that CSUS' peace organization has only recently been created. Somewhere along the lines of 60-80 people came out for the march.
I for one was glad to see the turnout. Spirits were high, and another march will occur next week: this one more publicized, so with any luck the turnout should be much higher (as many of the people, including myself, only found out about the protest as we walked by it, and jumped into it late).
I figured I'd share this story to aid our allies marching in San Francisco and the surrounding area. We in the valley are with you!
