Call for documentation of Jan 18 break-away march

by F16legal support team (documentfeb16now [at] yahoo.com)
call for documentation (video, photos) from jan 18 breakaway march...
Thanks to everyone who got back to us with footage of F16. One of the arrested protestors is being charged with felony vandalism charges from the Jan. 16 demo. For this reason, we are making a call for documentation from that day. We are also interested in footage that shows possible provacateurs in action as well as any police brutality. you can e-mail or leave a message on our v/m with your contact info. we are a group of friends of the protestors as well as community activists who have been working together doing support and when we get enough stuff together, we are planning to have a legal collective view it all before turning it over to the pertinent lawyers.
thanks...

i find it very interesting that many of the black bloc were so proud of what they had done on j18, calling out all of their critics as not being "revolutionary" enough since we all participated in a "permitted" march rather than participating in the "breakaway" march that was supposedly so "revolutionary" that they were above the law.
and now you are trying to blame the "direct action" on "provocateurs?"

what is really goin on?
was it hardcore revolutionaries involved in unpermitted direct action, or provocateurs?

i think we are owed an explanation.
i was there the whole time, and saw a whole group of people vandalizing private property.
i'm not against that, but fess up to what you did.

maybe a "provocateur" broke the windows, but the whole purpose of the breakaway march was allegedly to participate in "direct action," so it's pretty hard to blame anything that happened on "provocateurs."
by be careful
about what images you send to people you dont know. perhaps the piggs are trying to piece together their own evidence.

Why would someone fess up to what they did when it would land them in jail?
by pleased
i was at J18 and i am pleased with it. lets focus less on who did what and focus more on what happened that day.

so, are you saying you arent happy with what happened? the targets not to your liking? think they arent involved in the war effort? think youll criticize the lockdown folks when they lock these targets down?
or maybe you dont like the symbolism of the breakaway? fine. smashed windows scare you? fine. they scare the people in power too, and thats the point.

and, anyone here thinks the grassy park in civic center or the middle of market street is a better target for a protest than the INS, the Chron, or Citicorp i think you are insane.

Not in the least. We KNOW that the police are gathering evidence. That's their JOB.

In addition to law enforcement, numerous right-wing whackos are also collecting intelligence. Some are armed. Several have both threatened and called for violence against demonstrators, and against their families and friends.

Never trust ANYONE you met on the 'net. There's a war on. We're all behind enemy lines.

"smashed windows scare you? fine. they scare the people in power too, and thats the point. "

You must be an idiot, do you really think broken windows scare the people in power? It just gives them a reason to arrest you, and they laugh as they watch it on TV. I bet they are REALLY scared...LOL

It also affords the cops a little stick time, which is what makes their day (according to you). So you are actually helping all the wrong people...LOL
by just wondering
what would people need to smash to through to our rulers?

What makes you think our leaders should be gotten through to? Just because *you* and people who believe as you do think they should? That's not good enough. Back to the drawing board.

That's because you personally *are* nothing but livestock. Have you ever really read your own writings? You can practically hear the mooing between every line. I can hear you chewing your cud when you talk. Any conversation we've ever had the only thing you bring to the table is milk. Act like livestock and you'll be treated like livestock. I know that's how *I* treat you. If you stop eating grass in the pasture, people will treat you differently. But, nessie, you can't keep walking around with a bell around your neck and an earring through your nose and have a nickname like "Gracie" and expect people not to treat you like livestock.

In the meantime, we've all got better things to do, like grease the jeep.

The war is happening soon, and after that, the IAC/ANSWER will have to move onto other issues to lead the liberal herds around on, in order to keep the money rolling in. I hope that this person sues them for discriminating against her and empties them out a bit. I can understand that the sound system might cost a bit, but with the way they were extracting $20s out of everyone, and selling signs for $5, they probably have some cash available for a lawsuit: http://www.zmag.org/sustainers/content/2003-02/20russell.cfm

>Real men grease sheep.

Oh well, I guess not being from western Pennsylvania I just had to miss out on sheep in high-heels.

you guys are a joke.

first off, to black bloc, the reason why you guys vandalized in the middle of the day and in front of all of those cameras was because you wanted to get arrested. if you were really down with vandalism for the sake of revolution, you would walk the streets at night with the real revolutionary vandals. they're out there every night.

as for pleased, the answer to your irrelevant questions are no. i'm not afraid of anything, that's why i walk the streets at night. grow some courage and meet me out there.
this isn't about the "targets" it's about the fact that you are bragging about what you did, while you're legally astute homies are trying to blame what you did on "provocateurs."
it sounds like you're the ones who are afraid.
