Israeli envoy to Miami urges Belgian boycott
By Natan Guttman
Israel's consul-general in Florida has issued a call to Jewish organizations and community activists to boycott Belgian products in the wake of the Belgian Supreme Court decision allowing Ariel Sharon to be prosecuted for war crimes at Sabra and Chatilla, once he is no longer prime minister.
An e-mail signed by Miami Consul-General Miki Arbel calls on recipients to take "immediate steps" to protest the Belgian court decision, including "boycotting Belgian products," avoiding travel to Belgium "for any purpose" and protesting Belgian legations in the United States.
The e-mail, which broadly quoted Foreign Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, called the Belgian decision a "blood feud" and included e-mail addresses of Belgian diplomats to enable recipients to easily send their protest messages. Also attached was a brief petition, with the signatories promising to boycott products.
Arbel said yesterday the call for a boycott accurately reflects the mood in the foreign ministry.

I hope this was an inoccent mistake on the part of the poster, and not a deliberate attempt at misinformation.
However, regardless of technicalites, and thanks to the expansion of knowledge, vis a vis, your reply.
I thought that it was illegal to boycott foreign nations period, However thanks to your response it is now evident just who is behind the law that forbids
a boycott of Israel.
So the charge of double standards apply, despite the technicalites.
