URGENT: documentation of F16 march needed ASAP!
Call for video, photo, eyewitness account of F16 breakaway march in SF to aid in the cases of 5 peaceful protestors being held on fraudulent felony charges.
The legal support team for the 5 peaceful anti-war protesters being held on fraudulent felony charges from F16 in SF is putting out a call for documentation. We need to correct the false representations of violent protesters that the media and the cops are claiming and demonstrate that the only violence that was happening at the anti-war rally was blatant police brutality. We are seeking video, photos, and eyewitness accounts. We'll take anything you've got. You can send directly to our e-mail address:

Please help us to get the word out, and remember that the sooner we get your stuff, the more helpful it will be. Thanks.

I was returning from the real peaceful march when I ran into this other so called peaceful march.
I saw a window get broken at the Old Navy and an attempt to break a larger window. (photographic evidence has been posted on this site). The police who were present showed considerable restraint. I almost got caught in you charge up Cyril Magnin Street. Then I watched some stupid kids dancing on a trolley car. Again it seemed to me that the cops were showing restraint. Especially compared to the police reaction I have witnessed in Los Angeles to much less provocative action.
Then for twenty minutes over a beer in Johnny Foleys I tried to explain the context and intent behind 'black box actions'. I failed to justify these tactics because in the context of a very popular mass movement this kind of BS is unjustified and counter productive. Many people who fundamentally agree with the cause of peace were alienated and frightened by your tactics.
In fact it seems odd to me that a group of people would engage in deliberately provocative tactics (breaking store windows, spray painting, damaging a police car, sprinting in large mobs to evade police blockades, dancing on the top of trolleys, throwing objects at mounted police, etc.) and then complain when the police finally react.
Having said that. I wish you good luck. You'll need it. Jail sucks.

"Especially compared to the police reaction I have witnessed in Los Angeles to much less provocative action"
Showing how illegal some other cops have been will not justify the damage that any cops do when they get out of control. Illegal is illegal.
"this kind of BS is unjustified and counter productive"
In your opinion. Many around the world have applauded some of these actions. You obviously haven't yet awoken from the hallucination of the dollar. Go spend some more time staring at a billboard and report back in 9 years.
"were alienated and frightened by your tactics"
And so were some capitalist business owners and political leaders.
"then complain when the police finally react."
police can arrest people in a legal manner, or an illegal manner. police breaking the rules is just as bad as anyone else who breaks the rules.
Marching in the street is not illegal. Although breaking windows is scary to some on the side, you'd do yourself a favor and read up on the fantastical amount of illegal stuff our government is doing right now, that we can't do sh** about, except break windows, which is illegal.
Question - how many trillion were 'lost' by the defense department last year, literally, completely unaccounted for?
Don't know? Not yet?
2.3 trillion. That's our money. We worked for it. Now it's gone. Go look at your tax return and tell me how much you paid to the government. Now add up all the sales tax you pay every single day. Just gone, 2.3 trillion. We don't get anything for it. But somebody did.
Quesion - how many government officials are convicted criminals, now working in the white house?
look it up. But don't break any windows! In fact, if you do, and I catch you, I'll call the police.

im sure there were plenty of us at the march, but im also sure many of us did not see anything having to do with these 5 people.
