Compare the one sided news from the Chronicle with pictures and reports from the actual event. Anastasia Hendrix and Tom Abate's open support for the San Francisco political machine is one thing but this coverage sinks to the level where one would expect them to feel ashamed to call themselves journalists.

Tom Abate trades in a 3x/week tech column that appears on the front page of the San Francisco Chronicle business section for fulltime coverage of biotech and healthcare as a staff writer.

Tracking tech has been his beat since joining No. Calif.'s largest daily in April '97 and before that at the rival San Francisco Examiner but his heart has been in science.
