Protests in Muenchen - live webstream from german indymedia

by link
Live webcast in english language, mostly, from protests against Rumsfeld/NATO/Iraq war in Munich on Feb 8th today
This webcast is functioning well and it looks like they're deliberately doing it all in english, as though they expect or hope English and US residents to watch. Notice that on german indymeda http://de.indymedia.org that there is also translation provided in parts - such as the second square down.
They are discussing police arrests at the protests.

The webcast is cool. It isn't just a camera set up at a scene and left there. Now they've moved on to a visual sequence someone did with some scenes from the last gulf war, plus commentary and cool experimental electronic music, and they are intersplicing interviews - half in english.

Here is a comment someone had - the US has warned americans to stay away and watch out in Europe.
"
Americans, welcome to Munich!!
Von: one speaking for many 04.02.2003 12:04

In reaction to a State Department communication advising
American tourists not to travel to Munich, we want to
EXPLICITLY WELCOME all American tourists to Munich!

Our protest is not directed against You, the American
people, but against policies of Your and our own
governments. We do not intend any harm to American
civilians, nor to those from Britain, Spain, or wherever.
We do invite You to come join us, and to show Your
dissatisfaction with Your current administration's
policies. If You are not convinced that You should
be dissatisfied with them, come and discuss the
drawbacks and advantages of those policies. We promise
not to throw any stones or bottles at You as long as
You don't drop any bombs on us ;-) !!!

Then at 1:30pm they started showing narrated in english footage of the protests. It described and showed 30,000 people mainly acting as one bloc, rather than different contingents. they said masks are illegal but quite a few had them. a big group was all chanting in unison at the police to go away. the police wear green and have no weapons, and kept having shoving matches with protesters, but not arresting anyone, and the crowd all lined up and yelled at them. lots of signs in english such as 'welcome to Cuba' referring to Rumsfeld's remark. It was snowing. They describe it as peaceful except snowballs the whole time.
