On February 16 in San Francisco, hundreds of thousdands of people will take
part in a march against Bush's war on Iraq along with Danny Glover, Alice
Walker and some soon to be announced kickin music and cultural acts. The
protest is part of a global day of rallies in New York, San Diego, LA,
Sacramento, Santa Cruz, San Jose as well as Paris, London, Cairo, Manila,
Rome, Athens, Ramallah, Bangkok and Berlin that will all happen on February
15. Up to 10 MILLION people will take to the streets together on this day in
what will be the largest and most international anti-war protest IN THE
HISTORY OF THE WORLD! We MUST make Bush listen to the majority for peace.

In San Francisco on January 18, tens of thousands of students and youth
marched along with 200,000 othe people to protest the war. But since our
campuses were mostly not back in session yet, we didn't all march together in
a contingent to show Bush that the large majority of student oppose this war.

student wing of the anti-war movement visible for all to see with a...

Student Speak-Out and Contingent
College and High Schools students are meeting up a few blocks from the
beginning of the march at so we can have an open mic speak-out to hear how
we're all organizing to stop the war and then assemble so we can enter the
march as a student block with banners and signs identifying all our schools
and anti-war groups. If you or your school would like to participate and get
on the list to speak, please email the Campus Anti-War Network at
Feb16Students [at] aol.com or call 510-333-4604.
