Meeting in East Bay...Info, Creating Community
Greetings and Salutations,

Please join us for a night of interaction, information, discussion, and resource exchange.

I will be playing a video copy of the Guerilla News Networks video

After Math: Unanswered Questions from 9/11

or, if there is more interest for

Bowling for Columbine

I have a copy of that that could be shown instead. We will have a consensus on that topic.

When: This coming Wed. Jan 29th - 6:30 pm

Where: Mama Bears, 6536 Telegraph Ave
(510)428-9484

Who: Women who are curious/interested about building local community, exchanging information, and having fun in the process.

>I will also bring information, grass roots action stuff, legal info, your rights in demonstration activities, phone numbers, contact info, and a list of upcoming events in the Bay Area relative to the cause of Non Violent Direct Action. I've recently been through training in this area through the Ruckus Society http://ruckus.org.

The folks at Ruckus are very well informed and well versed in Non Violent Direct Action!

>> There will also be info about an upcoming Code Pink event, info about the Feb 16th Rally, and other upcoming events, actions, and fun.

I am coordinating with Women at Code Pink 4 Peace, Global Exchange, Unreasonable Women, Unreasonable Women Baring Witness , The Women's Building, the National Organization for Women, Women in Black, The Ecology Center in Berkeley, the Circle of Life Foundation, United for Peace, and Direct Action - Stop the War.

I hope you'll show up even if you don't think you'll take Direct Action(s) in the future. There is no forced commitment or level of commitment to this community. Come and go as you please. Take what you like and leave the rest...

Questions? Please contact me privately.

Thank you and Take Care,
