Manifesto in reference to the direct action against the president of the PT (Worker's Political Party of Brazil)

Based on the action conducted today afternoon, the International Association of Confectioners of Pies Without Borders want to say to the public public:

We repudiate the confusion promoted by the Party of the Workers which loves to make believe our movement, the movement of the movements, can be represented or be incarnated in some type of government. We come to say in public that the wave that took PT to win elections this year is in any form the same rising of the movement against the capitalist globalization. Our movement does not have leaders or representatives. Nobody can speak in our name. If somebody in Davos "represents" the movement, are we ourselves (nosotr@s mism@s), the millions of people that occupied the streets of Genova in protest against the meeting of bankers, industralists and rulers who PT legitimizes.

The hope of change that we bring cannot once again be caught and be frustrated by politicians and political parties that want to promote itself at our expenses. This time we are going to make things in a different form.

The Spirit of Larry, Curly and Moe, salute the politician Jose Genoíno.

All must go!
A world without leaders is possible.

I am reading in portuguese what PT's president answered to the pie:

"I feel honored of suffering this agression, which is tipycal of anarchism and adventurers, PT has nothing to do with this kind of manifestations of desperate and anarchism. This are the attitudes that are helping the wars, the life of president Bush and the Globalization. I feel much honor by being attacked for defending Lula's presence at Davos."

And he also said that "this was an act of VIOLENCE", (a violent pie, perhaps?).

if the future is looking dark
we're the ones who have to shine
if there's no one in control
we're the ones who draw the line
though we live in trying times-
we're the ones who have to try
though we know that time has wings-
we're the ones who have to fly
