Bolivia: The national roadblock has started

the military have started to use what seems to be live ammunition against the peasants who are blocking the highway through Bolivia.

the latest news on television here in Bolivia (at 13:30) showed video footage of soldiers from the regular army firing their automatic rifles up at peasants hiding in the hills next to the highway with what probably is "live" ammunition.

there have also been 10 arrests in a village called Buenavista.

i'll try to post more news as soon as i get some more info.
