My dear fellow progressives: Please, please stop glorifying the Democrats, like Tom Ammiano who is just running for mayor but whose party voted for all these latest fascist INS rules, and the lifelong election-frauding friend of organized crime, anti-worker election-frauder Willie Brown, namely Cecil Williams. Cecil Williams with his little superstition-promoting hustle known as Glide Church which has enriched Cecil greatly, is a longtime election-frauder for the Democratic Party, and Cecil and King Willie the Last, our current "mayor," go back a long ways, many decades in fact. Everybody who knows anything about San Francisco politics knows that. Cecil Williams is an integral part of the Democratic Party machine.

If you had any doubt, you had only watch the Board of Supervisors meeting on TV or just listen to the excerpts on the KPFA news on Wednesday, January 8, 2003, when we heard Cecil Williams and the rest of Willie Brown's election-fraud team beg for their good Democrat to be elected Board president, instead of the outstanding Green Party supervisor, Matt Gonzalez, who was elected, thereby finally putting an end to the 40-year nightmare of the Democratic Party's election-fraud organized crime machine at City Hall, a sure sign that the economy is crumbling.

The appearance of Cecil Williams at the anti-INS roundup demonstration, along with fellow Democrats Tom Ammiano and Jeff Adachi, is a last desperate attempt to put a progressive face on the now openly-fascist Democratic Party, which like the Republican Party, should be cast into the dustbin of history. After all, that good "liberal," SF Congresperson Democrat Nancy Pelosi voted for the fascist "Patriot" Act and the Gestapo Homeland Security, that made the INS roundups possible, as did most other Democrats and Republicans.

Cecil Williams, Glide Church, the Democratic Party and the Republican Party are all part of the problem. Don't cater to their opportunist game.

If you have not done so already, please read thoroughly the election fraud website:

It's important work that you do to keep everyone aware of what's really going on. It's easy to forget when they show up at things like this, what they're often doing on the job. Did someone invite them to this?

I think it *is* important to show support for a rally like this, but I agree with SFV - these people have not had the courage to leave the party that has INSTALLED these policies. Are they in disagreement with their own party??? Thanks to the democrats - jellyfish that they are - we have Asscroft, the Patriot Act, Fast Track, NAFTA, and on and on. Even Trent Lott is now being allowed to walk away and get reappointed to another position without the democrats doing anything.

We CAN do this without grandstanding people who support the machine in SF. They, like anyone else in the city, can show up and hold a sign. Wasn't Willie invited? Or did I miss that picture.

A response for " Could someone post the names of these speakers? "
For the names of the speakers, you might contact and ask any of the coalition groups. You may want to start with the poster of the event: "http://www.indybay.org/calendar/event_display_detail.php?event_id=1426 ".

Additionally you will probably be asked to identify who You are.

The same few dozen people who appear at every leftwing meeting/rally/protest - they have no constituency, few supporters and no power. The vast majority of Americans and even San Franciscans are pleased that the INS is finally cracking down on immigration law violaters.

"The vast majority of Americans"
want peace and not illegal detentions and abuse of immigrants.
by less is more
It really gets me when some INS stooge (or FBI, etc) signs something with "Peace Lover" to confuse us about who's saying what.

I'll bet if you did a survey of average Americans and described the civil rights violations that are currently being perpetrated in this country a resounding majority would say "no way, let's stick to the Constitution."

Viva the left!
by PeaceLover
Americans understand that the Constitution is not a suicide pact. Americans understand that immigration laws are needed and should be enforced. You leftist fools are so impotent you can't even influence policy in San Francisco any more - why do you think the rest of the country cares about you?

Some of the speakers (as mentioned in the note) include, Tom Amiano (outgoing president, SF Board of Supervisors), Renee Saucedo (La Raza Centro Legal/Day Laborers prog), Walter Johnson (SF Labor Council), Cecil Williams, activists around Japanese reparations, ACLU rep, etc. As is obvious, it's a pretty diverse crowd.

I was at the demo and there were many, many honks of approval. The "vast majority of the american people" are not in favor of INS roundups. Most of them have been ducking, knowing that it's open season on anybody who can't sing "the eagle soars" without missing a note. Both this policy and the total info awareness program were even held up in the US senate this week. If that gutless bunch is at that point, it's clear the people are way out in front. People are starting to see where the foul smell is eminating from. Look for a heavy dose of perfume tomorrow...
